s02e04: That’s how my throat is made!

Budai Lívia, Pászthy Júlia, Schultz Katalin

In today’s episode we would like to present more than one topic that can be important for an opera singer especially, but not exclusively, at the beginning of their career. Among our three guests, all of whom came from the countryside to study singing in Budapest, each chose a different career path after their diploma. Should we take into consideration vocal qualities or personality, when selecting repertoire? When to say no to a role offer, and when it is worth the risk? What are the successes and bitter moments of a newly established career? And especially: now that we finally got onstage, what’s next?
