During my Master Class in Győr, I encountered a Mozart aria, which is a great example to illustrate what I talked about in our previous episode about Mozart. An aria from La Finta giardiniera – which Mozart wrote at the age of 18 – “Noi donne poverine” can present quite a challenge for a young singer. Not only could Evelin presented us this piece very well, but she was also very quick to apply my unorthodox advice during our work. And the result speaks for itself!
